Jonny Seabrook covers for Phil Richards
Last week Jonny Seabrook was covering the show for Phil Richards who was enjoying some holiday. Here are details of some of the things Jonny covered. Check back soon for audio clips.
Tuesday 7th August 2012
Today Jonny had a chat with new band The Ukuleles. They are duo comprising of Logan and Martha who got together earlier this year. They now have an album coming out and are touring the country. On 23rd August 2012 they will be supporting The Soldiers at the Alban arena. Checkout their website www.theukuleles.com for more details.
Wednesday 8th August 2012
Celebrity chef Raymond Blanc chatted with Jonny today about his new restaurant Brassiere Blanc which opens on 18th August 2012 on Verulam Road. Raymond was visiting Redbournbury Mill and was singing the praises of the local produce available here in Herts and told Jonny he will be using it in the Brassiere. He also gave Jonny a top tip for how to cook a meal for Mrs Seabrook. Checkout www.raymondblanc.com
Friday 10th August 2012
Jonny was joined in the studio by Cecilia Crossley, founder of From Babies With Love (http://frombabieswithlove.com/) , which sells beautiful baby clothes with all the profits going to the charity SOS Children. While on maternity leave and shopping for clothes for her son, Cecilia started to wonder why charities limited themselves to selling used clothes cheaply, and didn't sell new clothes and give the profits to charity.
Friday 10th August 2012
Jonny jumped on the back of the national celebration of all things British and chatted to Dave Fry from the website www.ifancyafryup.co.uk Dave filled us in on what makes the perfect British breakfast. He also told us all about his new app coming out soon and explained how his website works. Basically it leads you to café and breakfast, sounds a winner!
